PIASA AUCTION

On 25 October PIASA staged Europe’s first-ever auction devoted to Limited Edition Contemporary Chinese Design during FIAC 2016. Limited edition Bold Long Table by Frank Chou has been auctioned off. The topic of this auction is “Chinese Contemporary Design” The work of Chinese designers is powerfully influenced by history and tradition. “Contemporary Chinese Design should get fusion of the view on life and view on world which integrate both West and East.”—— Frank Chou’s work concentrates on the fusion between contemporary design and the spirit of innovation to be found both in the East and in the West – with Orient influences allied to modern sensitivity to create a multi-cultural equilibrium which expresses the pursuit of freedom of design.
