DESIGN CN BEIJING

The first「Design China Beijing」officially unveiled, FRANK CHOU DESIGN STUDIO presents the alternate thinking about tradition and modernity, Frank Chou also take a speech with the theme of “BEIJING, MY CORNERSTONE”. The whole booth is decorated with traditional local building materials, and is divided by the "courtyard door" simulated by the gray bricks. The modern tables and chairs outside the ‘Door’ draw lessons from the space layout of the teahouse and theater building which expressing the old Beijing impression, and the gray bricks with antique tiles show Beijing well atmosphere. Inside the "Door", all the use of modern exhibits and design methods, showing a completely different life and even space-time.
